Tale
Television series based on the Alex Cross novels by James Patterson
Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze the minds of killers, delving into the psyche of victims to identify the killers and bring them to justice. Aldis Hodge talks about playing the lead role in and producing the crime drama “Cross,” what he should be known for as an actor and producer, and his commitment to promoting diverse narratives through his producing work.
Aldis Hodge gives a great performance as Alex Cross
Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first portrayed him onscreen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 film sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which flopped at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the pre-planned sequel Double Cross. Cross is a new main series that is based on the novels by James Patterson.
He is a very underrated actor, I have always enjoyed his work
Yes, this series may be somewhat different from the novels, but they should not be compared. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, this is a very solid show.
In my opinion, Aldis is the perfect choice for Alex Cross
It starts off slow in the first few episodes, but picks up and only gets better as the season progresses. Many may disagree, but I think this is the best adaptation of Cross we have seen so far.
It is a very entertaining show and I hope it gets renewed for a second season
